There is momentum in the society around us, and it creates new projects and tasks. Therefore we need one more department manager in Nord Energi Teknik.

Are you an electrical installer and do you have a background as an electrician? Do you also want to combine your technical experience with leadership, coordination and responsibility for daily operations? Then maybe you are our new colleague.

What will you do?

As department manager you will be responsible for the daily leadership of 10-15 colleagues, primarily electricians, who perform construction and maintenance work across our supply area. You are part of ensuring a well-functioning everyday life in the department and become a natural link between colleagues, customers and suppliers.

The position suits you that you thrive with responsibility, variation and a workday where there isn’t always a long way from plan A to plan B. As department manager you have responsibility for people, projects and daily operations.

You will, among other things, come to work with

• Daily leadership of 10-15 employees
• Planning and coordination of daily task execution
• Management of and follow-up on projects
• Coordination of agreements with customers and suppliers
• Prioritization and handling of urgent tasks, e.g. in case of faults and damages in the electrical grid
• To ensure that resources and tasks align in a day where things can change at short notice
• Diverse ad hoc tasks

We work with critical infrastructure, where faults and damages do not always occur during normal working hours. You are not part of a fixed shift system, but we expect you to have natural flexibility and to step in if situations arise where your involvement and professional sparring are needed.

You will become part of a leadership team of seven, where you collaborate with each other on daily operations, priorities and development in the department.

Who are you?

We place great emphasis on you having a solid electrical engineering background and preferably experience from the utility sector. You have a good overview and can create calm and structure around you, even when something unforeseen happens.

As a leader you are present, inclusive and trustworthy. You create direction and make the necessary decisions. You meet your colleagues with respect and understand that good leadership is about clear expectations and giving space to the individual.

We imagine that you

• Are an electrical installer, preferably with a background as an electrician
• Have knowledge of electricity supply
• Very much have experience with managing and coordinating projects
• Are an active team player
• Are familiar with IT and common digital work tools
• Hold a category B driving licence
