About the job

Are you passionate about rehabilitation and continuity as core elements in a professional culture? then take a look:

The holistic care in Norddjurs Municipality consists of about 450 employees and 8 department heads distributed in 4 teams across different sites in the municipality.

Both the fixed teams and the department head team consist of different professional backgrounds.

All fixed multidisciplinary teams work with a focus on retaining and developing high professionalism in the rehabilitative culture where the Elderly Act's intentions regarding the citizen's self-determination and continuity of service are given high priority. There are also other indirect effects from both the elderly reform and the health reform being addressed.

Our shared management code is based on Kurs, Coordination and Commitment so that the common managerial task is always to create a shared direction, framework, room to maneuver and relationships.

We aim to have a facilitative leadership style where professional reflection and involvement in processes is a natural part of daily life.

It is important to us that both citizens and employees thrive, and that the citizen-perceived quality goes hand in hand with a good working environment.

The management team is in daily operation divided into four smaller units with two department heads in each. Since our task is to create a common direction in a large organization, there are ongoing leadership meetings and workshops, where the focus is always on ensuring the use of structured methods to support implementation and the retention of the new direction.

We are approved as a practice placement for social and health education and the nursing education. And the department head team shares responsibility for the area, where the goal is that students and trainees will want to return to us after completing their education

If you see yourself as part of a daily life where employees and management together create the framework for a sustaining culture and where professional development is the utmost focus, then we can offer you, among other things:

  • a daily life in an active and initiative-taking leadership team that works inclusively and process-oriented
  • an opportunity to develop your leadership skills and focus on structured methods and a facilitative leadership style
  • an opportunity to contribute to the implementation of reforms etc. and create new work communities in a time characterized by change

and much, much more

Your profile

  • Health-professional educated – e.g., therapist, nurse, etc.
  • Leadership experience, coordination experience or other relevant
  • leadership education, or willingness to undertake one
  • a appreciative and dialog-based approach that can support the professional reflection processes in daily life
  • an eye for operational optimization within the given framework
  • see digital solutions and welfare technology as a natural part of the task solution
