Botilbud Rude Skov seeks a leadership colleague with managerial professional courage, professionalism and a focus on the core task.

The leadership team at Botilbud Rude Skov consists of a center director, a professional leader, and 4 managers each with their own area/house. We seek you who will lead a house with engaged staff, while actively contributing to the leadership community that creates coherence across the organization.

We are mid-way through a major professional initiative; all staff in 2025 have received courses in neuropedagogical approaches, and will receive supervision based on this in 2026, and LA2u will be implemented in the organization in 2026/2027. The goal is to strengthen the quality of residents' daily lives, the collaboration with families and guardians, and to maintain a strong professional and work environment foundation.

About the job

Specifically, we are seeking a leader for House 10 with about 30 permanent staff and 20 residents, and the shared operations and strategic tasks that the organization and leadership team collaborate on. Common among the residents is that all have a developmental disability with a low cognitive functioning level. In addition, there is an overlay of various individual psychiatric diagnoses.

At Botilbud Rude Skov we work with a sense-based approach, total communication and neuropedagogy (and LA2u). We work with clear and detailed 24-hour rhythm plans that are based on the individual resident's needs and prerequisites. Through individually tailored pedagogical support we create structure, predictability and security in daily life. This supports the resident's well-being and frees energy and resources to handle daily activities and challenges.

As a leader you will have close collaboration with an educational coordinator, a work-time planner, and a health professional coordinator on the operation of your area. You set the direction for the professional development and create good frameworks for both residents and staff, based on shared strategic decisions for the organization. You are responsible for a payroll budget of about 10 million DKK.

We believe in leadership close to the core task and, very practically, you have an office close to the core task so you are available in daily operations. Staff work at different times, and thus there can be long intervals between when they see each other, therefore there is a big task for the leader and the pedagogical coordinator to maintain a shared professional and practical direction.

The leadership task in House 10 calls on the next leader to continue an effort around a strong work community in the house, to continue developing professional practice together with the rest of the organization and support documentation (sensum One).

Recruitment and onboarding are also part of the task.

Your profile

We imagine that you have experience from the specialized disability field and/or a broad pedagogical basic qualification or other relevant education and experience within the social sector.

The most important is that you have a strong professional understanding and interest in, with your leadership, supporting the work with the core task.

You are ambitious, willing to set direction and motivated to develop the quality of the professional effort.

You should be motivated to succeed with the core task, and that the focus on it is what forms the basis for strategic actions, both in the organization and in the house you lead.

Employment terms

The position is full-time, with no upper limit on working hours. You will be on call for phone from your own home for up to ten weekends and up to four holidays per year (a local agreement and pay supplement have been prepared for this).

When the center director is on vacation, the deputy function is shared among the other leaders.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, and the Ny Løn principles.
