Sydbyens Børnehus is seeking an engaged and visionary daily leader, who with presence, clarity and professional expertise can lead our 0-6 year daycare. We want a leader who can further develop our strong pedagogical foundation and at the same time ensure a stable and well-functioning everyday life for children, families and staff.

Your key tasks

As daily leader you shall

• be close to the pedagogical practice and set the direction for professional development, including through neuro-pedagogy and ICDP
• lead and develop staff through trusting, clear and affirming leadership
• ensure high quality in the work with the strengthened pedagogical learning framework
• create frameworks for reflection, evaluation and development of the learning environments
• support a culture characterized by community, engagement and job satisfaction
• be a visible and present partner for children, parents and staff
• ensure daily operations and administration
• actively participate in collaboration with other leaders in the area and interdisciplinary partners.

We are seeking a leader who

• is a trained pedagogue and preferably has leadership experience in the early childhood sector
• has strong pedagogical and relational competences
• can create buy-in through clear communication and visible leadership
• sees opportunities rather than limitations and can translate visions into action
• has an eye for both staff well-being, children’s communities and the organization’s development
• works from a resource-oriented and appreciative view of people
• can balance operations, professional leadership and strategic development.

Salary and employment terms

The position is full-time with start on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is remunerated in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the relevant professional organization. The expected starting salary lies in the range of DKK 40,975 - 47,828 plus pension. The final placement within the range will be based on objective criteria such as relevant education and documented professional experience
