About the job

Would you like to help create a new accommodation service and put your mark on professionalism, culture and workflows from the start?

Do you have a health care education and a desire to combine your professional expertise with relationship-based work and support for people with mental and social challenges?

Then you may be our new health-care professional at Solbækken.

We are seeking one health-professionally educated staff member for a permanent full-time position in our new residential facility under the Social Services Act sections 107 and 108.

Join in creating Solbækken

Solbækken is a new residential facility with four places for adults with mental health difficulties, mental vulnerability, social hardship and reduced everyday functioning. The citizens have a need for a stable living arrangement and a coherent approach that is more extensive than the support that can be offered in their own home.

You will be part of the team that will build Solbækken and create a safe and meaningful daily life for the citizens. At the same time you will have a special role in strengthening the health-professional perspective and developing safe and clear workflows in the area.

A multidisciplinary daily life close to the citizens

Citizens may, among other things, have difficulties structuring everyday life, maintaining housing, entering relationships and taking care of their own health. Some may also have mild cognitive impairments, problematic substance use or hoarding behavior.

Solbækken is not a treatment or addiction service, but we collaborate with general practitioners, treatment psychiatry and other relevant health and treatment services.

You participate in daily support on par with your colleagues, but also contribute with your special health-professional knowledge. The work starts from the citizen's own hopes, wishes, resources and goals.

Your primary tasks will be to

  • Support the citizens in taking care of their physical and mental health.
  • Observe and respond professionally to changes in the citizens' health, well-being and level of functioning.
  • Manage and support safe medication handling.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with doctors, treatment psychiatry and other health-professional actors.
  • Contribute to health-care assessments, documentation and development of workflows.
  • Be a sparring partner for colleagues and strengthen health-care awareness in the team.
  • Build stable relationships and support the citizens' structure, everyday mastery and independence.

Our professional foundation

At Solbækken we work in a recovery-supportive, rehabilitative and relationship-based manner. We meet the citizen as a person with their own experiences, resources and possibilities and emphasize safety, continuity and influence on one’s own life.

We work among other things with Motivational Interviewing, social skills training, harm reduction and support for hoarding behavior. As a health-professional staff member you should be able to bring your own professional expertise into play within this shared approach.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

  • Are trained as a nurse, social- and health care assistant or have another relevant health-professional education.
  • Have experience with or an interest in social psychiatry and working with people in vulnerable positions.
  • Have a secure health-professional perspective and can respond calmly and professionally to changes in the citizens' condition.
  • Are clear, relationship-oriented and can support without taking over the citizen's responsibility.
  • Can work independently while actively contributing to the multidisciplinary community.
  • Desire to help develop a new offer and build its health-professional practice.

It is an advantage if you have experience with medication management, psychiatry, dual diagnoses, recovery-oriented rehabilitation or KMD Nexus.

About us

Solbækken will become part of Disability and Social Psychiatry in Solrød Municipality. You will be part of both the new team at Solbækken and a larger professional environment with experience within social psychiatry, residential services and social pedagogical support.

We place emphasis on integrity, multidisciplinary reflection and a strong collegial community. With us there should be room for different professional perspectives, open dialogue and humor – even when the tasks are complex.

We offer

  • Opportunity to help build a new residential facility.
  • A central role in developing the facility's health-care practice.
  • A meaningful and varied job close to the citizens.
  • A strong multidisciplinary community with opportunities for sparring, supervision and competence development.
  • Influence on the facility's culture, professionalism and workflows.

Salary and employment terms

This is a permanent full-time position.

Salary and employment are under the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local pay setting with the possibility of negotiation based on qualifications. The salary range is 30,700–39,700 DKK depending on education, qualifications and experience. Pension is in addition.

The work is organized according to the citizens' needs, and you should therefore expect work at varying times, including evening and weekend shifts.
