Helsingør Børneasyl is seeking a flexible hourly-paid staff member

Behind the green gate in Helsingør's pedestrian street lies our small private kindergarten with 27 children and five staff members, including our leader. We are based in a crooked half-timbered house with more than 190 years of history, a cozy playground, a fire pit and wild secret hideouts. Here there is room for play, imagination, presence and togetherness – and we love being outdoors in all kinds of weather.

With us, close everyday child life is the focus. We place a high value on relationships, play and presence.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a dedicated and caring hourly-paid staff member who wants to become a regular part of our daily life. We would like you to have experience with children and a desire to work pedagogically.

We are looking for someone who

· is present, caring and good at building relationships with children

· actively participates in the children's play and daily life

· meets children with respect, curiosity and an eye for their perspectives

· can take initiative and fit into the house's framework and routines

· is reliable, flexible and responsible

· can step in at short notice and take both opening and closing shifts

Practical information

We are seeking an hourly-paid staff member. We expect you to be flexible and able to step in at short notice due to illness and other urgent situations. For pre-planned absences among the staff, the working hours will be set in advance, so you will know well in advance when you are scheduled to work.

You must be able to work within the entire nursery's opening hours and handle both opening and closing shifts.

Opening hours: Monday–Thursday 6.30–17.00 and Friday 6.30–16.15.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement and agreements. A child safety check will be obtained prior to employment.
