Hospice Djursland is seeking a nurse for a permanent position of 32-34 hours per week from January 1, 2027

Hospice Djursland has room for 15 patients, and our core task is to provide an interdisciplinary, palliative specialist contribution at a high professional level, to people with incurable disease and complex palliative issues. At Hospice Djursland we work from the hospice philosophy, where in good terms we address the patient's psychological, physical, social and spiritual/existential issues.

Desired qualifications

• Interest and preferably experience within palliation, rehabilitation, oncology, lung diseases
• You are listening and reflective as well as creative and flexible in daily task solving
• You are patient and want to work with family dynamics
• Skilled at building good collaborative relationships
• Strength in communication and documentation

Working hours

Working hours will be day, evening and night. We aim for 2-shift system. We use wish plan MinTid with possibility to influence your own duty roster via wishes to our duty planner. We work every 3rd weekend, and there are 8 and 12 hour shifts on weekends.

A common hospice

Hospice Djursland and Strandbakkehuset Children’s and Youth Hospice operate as one common hospice with shared functions. This means that you are primarily employed at Hospice Djursland, but may be asked to assist your colleagues at the child and youth hospice as the 2nd person. You will be introduced to the tasks.
