House assistant with a big heart and a sense of homely coziness sought for the Lykke Marie Co-housing Community

Are you a house assistant who makes a home clean and welcoming? Do you also have a big heart for people with multiple functional variations and want to make a difference for them, then become our next house assistant 30 hours per week.

The communal living home Lykke Marie is a home for 24 young people with multiple functional variations. The meeting time on weekdays is at 6:30 AM and, as a rule, weekends off. You will need to ensure residents have a good morning and a start to the day before day services, where you will also assist 1-2 residents with personal help and care. After you have helped with this, daily cleaning of the apartments and Lykke Marie’s common areas must be carried out. This is done in close collaboration with Lykke Marie’s other two house assistants.

We have some beautiful conservatories with lush plants and flowers, so if you also have a green thumb, that’s a plus.

We are looking for someone who would like to contribute with

• Your understanding of people with functional variations, or a desire to gain it
• To work value-based and in accordance with Lykke Marie’s view of people
• Waking residents and helping them through morning toilet routines and breakfast and sending them off to day services/school
• Good physical fitness and willingness to provide personal care and assistance
• Daily tidying and cleaning in the apartments and all common areas in the house you are primarily connected to
• Take responsibility for residents (care, support, activities) as needed and during staff meetings
• Order cleaning supplies and keep the depot organized
• Document in Cura etc.
