A kitchen/house assistant

In Regnbuen Børnehus we are looking for a kitchen/house assistant who will take responsibility for the daily lunch service in the house.

Here you will become the central driving force in the kitchen and have the opportunity to create good frameworks around the children's meals. Although you solve the task independently in the house, you will have colleagues in our other nearby day cares where you can seek sparring and inspiration.

Your tasks

As a kitchen/house assistant you will among other things

• Order, receive, prepare and cook today's lunch
• Ensure plating and serving of the food
• Ensure good kitchen hygiene and self-check
• Take care of dishwashing and tidying after meals
• Contribute to good meal experiences for the children
• Collaborate with pedagogical staff and colleagues on the day's tasks

We are looking for kitchen/house assistants who

• May have experience with similar work
• Are in good physical shape and can handle large quantities of food as well as the pushing, pulling and lifting that comes with working in a kitchen.
• Thrive in a fast-paced everyday life.
• Can work independently and maintain an overview.
• Recognize needs and act on them.
• Are flexible and solutions-oriented.
• Are appreciative, approachable and helpful toward children, parents and colleagues.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization. The position is paid according to the applicable collective agreement. The expected salary level will be stated prior to any interview and depends on experience and qualifications
