Your day-to-day as an HR Business Partner

Some days you help a leader safely navigate a complex personnel matter. Other days you facilitate a development dialogue, qualify a recruitment or spot a pattern in HR data that calls for action. The common denominator is that you make HR concrete, usable and business-oriented. You will, among other things,:

• advise and challenge leaders on personnel management, employee development and organizational matters
• handle complex personnel matters and employment-law questions with sound judgment
• support recruitment, onboarding, retention and the overall employee journey
• facilitate competence-, talent-, well-being- and culture initiatives
• support leaders and the organization through changes
• translate the business needs and HR data into relevant, action-oriented initiatives
• improve HR processes, tools and workflows and drive relevant cross-organizational projects

Who succeeds in the role?

Your title is less important than your ability to build trust, stand secure in your professional domain and make solutions work in practice. You could be an HR Business Partner, an HR consultant or come from another broad HR role.

• You have a relevant higher education and a solid, broad HR toolbox
• You can advise leaders with qualification and dare to ask the questions that move them forward
• You have experience with both ordinary and complex HR and personnel matters
• You have a good grasp of Danish employment law and know when to seek specialist advice
• You work independently and in a structured way, but actively seek sparring and share your knowledge
• You can switch seamlessly between urgent issues and more long-term initiatives
• You communicate clearly, properly and professionally across the organization

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience with organizational development, change processes or similar areas where HR helps move the business.
