About the job

Can you drive developing HR initiatives together with good colleagues in our large and meaningful organization?

We are seeking an HR Development Partner for a maternity leave replacement. You will be one of two HR Development Partners in the Danish Red Cross and will play a central role in working to develop the organization and create value for leaders and employees. Together we work strategically and practically on HR development across the entire organization.

HR development at the Danish Red Cross

Both HR development partners report directly to the HR Director at the Danish Red Cross. We also work closely with the HR staff team, which includes legal HR partners, HR supports and HR students.

We drive both larger strategic initiatives and smaller development tasks and have a number of fixed operational tasks. Our areas of work include, among others: wellbeing and occupational environment, leadership development, skills development, onboarding, diversity and inclusion, recruitment and flexible working arrangements. Over the past year, we have, among other things, implemented a new wellbeing concept, strengthened work on diversity and inclusion, and targeted leadership development and development of our physical framework.

Your tasks

You will play a central role in driving and supporting several important HR agendas. You will work closely with your colleagues in the HR development team and your tasks will include supporting:

  • Planning of the annual Employee Day with both professional and social focus
  • Planning and holding seminars
  • Planning cross-cutting initiatives, such as follow-up on the annual wellbeing survey and various training activities
  • Leadership development, e.g. development of a new onboarding concept for leaders
  • Evaluation of the new Exit Survey concept

About you

You have a relevant academic education and experience in the HR field. The most important for us is that you are motivated by HR development and understand how a central HR function creates value for the organization. We especially emphasize that you:

  • Have experience with one or more of the above HR disciplines
  • Can drive projects and processes confidently from idea to reality
  • Are a skilled facilitator and communicator who can create engagement and direction
  • Are trustworthy and navigate credibly in many types of relationships

As an HR development partner you work both strategically and operationally. You thrive on thinking broadly and approach both complex development tasks and more routine tasks with equal dedication. As a colleague you contribute with good humor, overview and flexibility. You are a team player and appreciate good camaraderie in a fast-paced everyday life.

We offer you

We offer you a meaningful role with responsibility and professional influence in an organization with strong values. We are based at the Danish Red Cross’ national office on Østerbro, where there is a lunch arrangement, coffee on the pot and the possibility for walk and talks in Fælledparken. In addition we offer:

  • Opportunity to shape central HR initiatives and develop the organization
  • An inspiring and informal HR team with ambitious and engaged colleagues
  • Flexible working arrangements with the possibility of remote work

Application process – we do it a little differently

We believe that competences and motivation can look different in many ways . Therefore we do not ask for a traditional application . Instead, we would like you to:

  • Send your CV without photo, age and indication of gender/gender identity , but very gladly with concrete descriptions of what you have tried and learned.
  • Answer three questions:
  • What motivates you about working with HR development in an organization like the Danish Red Cross?
  • Which strengths will you especially bring into play in working on the tasks described in the job advertisement (Employee Day, seminars, follow-up on the wellbeing survey etc.) – and what do you think could be the most challenging?
  • How would others describe you as a colleague, and what do you do in practice to contribute to good collaboration?

We encourage all qualified to apply – regardless of gender, age, disability, educational direction or background. We welcome applicants who can bring new perspectives, experiences and ideas into the team. Please send us your CV and answers to the questions no later than 11 November 2026 by uploading both parts via the link. We expect to hold interviews in weeks 47 and 48 .

Salary and terms of employment

The position is 37 hours per week and we would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible. The maternity leave cover runs through June, 2027. Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement.
