About the job

In Communication & Technology we handle investigation, counseling and education of citizens who have specific functional impairments within the areas of vision, hearing, speech/voice as well as ICT.

Your primary task will be assessment, counseling and testing of structure, communication and LST aids for adults with special needs.

• We are looking for an experienced ICT consultant, who particularly has experience with structure, communication and LST aids as well as experience with application processes, grants and procurement of ICT aids in a municipal setting.

We therefore expect that

• you are trained as an audiologist/ speech-language pathologist,
• you have a humane and pedagogical approach, which can encompass all age groups and all forms of disability,
• you have knowledge about compensatory technology, and how it can support learning, communication and participation,
• you can identify the right communication aid to be implemented and used both at home and in institutions,
• you can provide the right guidance to relatives and professionals in using technological communication aids,
• you have knowledge of the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration to succeed with the task, and can coordinate efforts across disciplines both internally and externally
• you can adapt solutions to the individual citizen's needs and with the right timing regarding follow-up of the effort,
• you have an eye for inclusion and transitions in the citizen's life ,
• you have experience with application processes, grants and procurement of ICT aids in a municipal setting ,
• you can work independently and in a structured way,
• you have a broad overview, and can “keep many balls in the air”.

About us

CSV stands for Center for Special Education for Youth and Adults.

CSV Vejle has four departments, distributed over 3 sites: Special Education for Adults, Specially Arranged Youth Education – STU, UU guidance as well as Communication & Technology. You will work daily in the latter department.

We are 80 employees distributed among teachers, consultants, social educators, pedagogical assistants, UU-guides, technical-administrative staff and employees with special terms.

To ensure high professionalism we are part of the professional network covering Kolding, Fredericia/Middelfart and Vejle municipalities, just as we have a binding cooperation agreement with Kolding Municipality on task execution and are part of DTHS: dths.dk

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to collective agreement. The current maternity leave position will be changed to a permanent full-time position with commencement on 1 December 2026.
