Implementation Lead with a focus on user journeys and learning in BI solutions

Are you motivated by being close to users, asking curious questions and translating their input into good implementation actions? Do you want to collect experiences and help get new data- and BI solutions well into use in the organization? Then you may be the implementation lead we are looking for.

The position is newly created, and not everything is fixed in advance – we hope you want to help shape both the content of the role and the common working routines that should support good implementation and use of BI solutions.

Your tasks

As the implementation lead you will be the link between the BI solutions, the users and the teams that develop and operate them. Users know well how they derive value from data – your role is to listen to them, collect patterns and translate input into concrete actions and support.

Your tasks will include, among other things, to

Map needs and experiences of users

You talk with users and leaders about how they work with data and reports, what works well, and where there are challenges. You collect and structure input from different groups and translate them into proposals for adjustments and support activities – e.g., training initiatives or guides.

Follow usage and support use

You monitor how reports and other data products are used, e.g., via usage statistics and feedback, and help to step in where there is a need for extra support or introduction, so that the solutions feel accessible and usable.

Responsibility for training program and implementation activities

You plan and maintain a comprehensive training and introduction program for our BI solutions. In time you may be motivated to teach yourself – together with colleagues. When we launch new BI products or major updates, you help to plan information, introductory courses, training and follow-up.

Facilitate dialogue and learning about the use of data

You can arrange and facilitate workshops, meetings and sparring sessions, where we together with the users discuss how the solutions are experienced, and what can be strengthened. You can create safety, curiosity and a good dialogue.

Your profile

Your educational background can be different – e.g., health-related, social science, IT/data-related or something completely different. The most important for us is that you:

• are naturally curious and want to understand how different professional groups work and use data – and are good at building trust and relationships both with the users and at home with colleagues
• have experience in collecting and structuring needs and feedback and translating them into concrete proposals for changes or activities, e.g., training, guides or small adjustments in solutions
• have an eye for what users need, so they can navigate and use data and reports – and can adjust your communication to the audience
• can work in a structured and analytical way with usage statistics and feedback and use it to prioritise where and how we should support the use of BI solutions
• understand roughly what data warehouse, BI and Power BI are, and are technically interested at a level where you understand the potentials in data and data products
• are comfortable facilitating dialogue and workshops, creating shared understanding and ensuring concrete results – and thrive with ongoing improvement work in both products, communication and modes of collaboration.

About us

You will become part of Data and BI, which consists of about 15 employees with various professional backgrounds and a shared interest in data. We work on developing data warehouse, data models and BI solutions that support both hospitals and staff in Region of Southern Denmark.

The department is evolving both organizationally and technologically, and you will therefore experience a workplace where we focus on improving both our products and the way we collaborate. We have an informal tone, help each other and emphasize professional curiosity and a good atmosphere. There will be the possibility for homeworking 1-2 days a week after introduction.

Employment terms

You will be employed under one of the following agreements depending on your educational background: Akademikere – overenskomst 33.01.1 or Overenskomst for Administrations- og IT-personale m.fl. - 32.01.1.
