About the job

At Nyager School we are looking as soon as possible for an engaged mathematics teacher who wants to be part of a strong, academically oriented community with us.

You will be the mathematics- and class teacher in a 1st grade class, teach mathematics in the 0th grade together with a kindergarten class leader, and have N/T, physical education and two-teacher hours in 1st-2nd grade.

The primary years at Nyager are organized in smaller departments, where the track-team together handles the work with the students’ learning and well-being in 0., 1. and 2. grade. You will therefore be attached to a track-team of teachers and pedagogues with close and good collegiality. We are two adults in about half of the teaching hours.

The position is initially a maternity leave cover for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year - but we are a large school and know that new opportunities often arise.

We have good physical facilities, our own preparation space and strong support from colleagues all around.

At Nyager we work closely together – both between subject groups and between management and staff. We have a good and strong working environment and a stable staff group. In N/T we are running a development project where we develop courses, select teaching materials and premises and participate in each other’s teaching.
