IoT / Full Stack developer

As an IoT and Full Stack developer you will play a central role in developing a platform that balances the future energy system in real time.

At Andel Energi we are seeking an experienced IoT and Full Stack developer to develop our cloud-native FlexPlatform. You will be responsible for the integration of different energy installations and will help design, develop and test the solutions that connect the installations to the platform.

About Andel Energi FlexPlatform

FlexPlatform enables the collection and control of flexible electricity consumption and production in real time, so the Danish grid can be balanced. The platform connects, among others, batteries, wind turbines and solar installations, where data and IoT are essential for control and optimization.

Be part of developing the platform

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of developers, data scientists, business analysts and external specialists, who work agile with a strong DevOps approach.

Your main responsibilities

• Contribute to integration architecture in dialogue with customers and suppliers
• Ensure clarifications and testing so that communication with connected installations runs optimally
• Develop, integrate and operate our cloud-native platform

About you

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues across disciplines, take responsibility and actively contribute to shared solutions. At the same time you are motivated by good software craftsmanship and by developing robust and maintainable code.

We imagine you have

• Relevant education at bachelor- or master level as software engineer or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with IoT and communication protocols and technologies, such as MQTT, Modbus (TCP/IP and RTU), IEC 60870 and DNP3.
• Full Stack background from working with complex cloud-based, business-critical systems and web technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, REST/APIs and webhooks or equivalent.
• Experience with SCADA systems and integration to technical installations.
• Passion for clean and maintainable code.
• Thrives in collaboration with developers, the business, customers and external partners.

It is an advantage if you also have experience with

• Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, container technology and Kubernetes.

We will conduct interviews in two rounds. The first interview is with the department head and mainly concerns task solving and professional competencies. In the second interview, you will complete two analyses in advance: a logical and a behavioral analysis. These are the starting point for the dialogue during the interview.
