IT Operational Security Consultants for work with security, emergency preparedness, compliance and analyses at UFST

Would you like to help work with security, emergency preparedness and compliance as well as collect and convey knowledge about this to a top management in one of the government's most complex organizations?

At the Agency for Development and Simplification we are seeking two operations consultants who want to work with security, emergency preparedness, compliance and analyses, and the ability to convey this knowledge to a top management in the area of operations and infrastructure.

Your role

You will be part of the IDS It-Driftskontor office, which functions as a link between the institutions under the Ministry of Taxation and State IT, where the Ministry's basic IT is operated. In addition, the office represents the group's interests and wishes regarding State IT’s operation of the basic IT.

You do not need to know the field of work in advance, as you will be thoroughly onboarded. The most important thing is that you are good at communicating complex IT knowledge – both verbally and in writing, enjoy working with security and compliance and are structured and motivated to make complex tasks succeed in a cross-cutting field with many stakeholders.

You will play a central role in creating an overview, ensuring progress and communicating a domain with strong leadership and political attention, where you will among other things work closely with the Deputy Director-General for the area and many different professional communities in the organization.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• participate in meetings with the professional pillar Security
• write summaries and notes about outages, security incidents, sovereignty, emergency plans and emergency readiness in the areas of IT operations, IT infrastructure and cyber security to management
• work with compliance and information security (compliance with NIS2, ISO, GDPR and Minimum Requirements)
• work with assessment of complex IT solutions
• work with optimization of IT operations, technology and processes (ITIL)
• create structure, overview and progress in the tasks

Who are you?

You can be a recent graduate or have a few years of experience, e.g. from the state, a municipality or a relevant student job.

You have a relevant education. The most important is not your exact background but that you thrive in working with security and compliance in collaboration with several stakeholders, where you take responsibility for driving the collection of responses and communicating these in a structured and understandable way for a top management.

Please note that your employment is conditional on you being security cleared and maintaining this security clearance during your employment in the position. If you are already security cleared in another public authority and you are offered the position, we would like to take over your security clearance from your current employer if the conditions for doing so are met.

You will be employed under the collective agreements applicable at any time for academics in the state (AC), the collective agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT staff (HK) or the collective agreement for Clerks, etc. (DTS) in the Ministry of Taxation and Growth.
