IT-support trainee sought for UCRS

If you have an interest in IT and technical understanding, the IT Department at UCRS is looking for a dedicated, approachable, and motivated IT-support trainee, who perhaps could be you?

The department consists of a small team of 3 with you on the team, and it is centrally located in the organization, giving you a very large touchpoint with both staff and students.

The tone is informal, and there is a constant strive to give all students and staff the best help. With us you get a varied daily life, with many different tasks, a strong sense of community and professionalism.

A 2-year training position is included.

In addition to the practical training at UCRS, there is school education and the final professional exam before you graduate.

About the position

The tasks at UCRS will include among other things

• Assisting with the implementation of the latest technologies in IT
• Providing support to students, course participants, and staff on PCs, smartphones, and software
• Troubleshooting and resolving IT problems
• Installation and setup of hardware and software
• Maintenance of the school's network
• Documentation and guidelines
• Participation in courses and workshops

Systems

• We use Herningsholm IT center as the operating center
• We primarily work with Microsoft operating system and servers
• The network is exclusively HP/Aruba
• Our AV solution mostly consists of Epson projectors

About you

We are looking for someone who

• Has completed the basic course "Data and Communication Education" or equivalent
• Is positive, engaged, responsible and reliable
• Is easy to smile at, can communicate with everyone and meet people at eye level
• Can keep an overview even when it is busy
• Is a good team player who wants to contribute to a positive working environment
• Can work independently and have structure in daily life and tasks

If you have an interest in AI, websites, scripting (PowerShell) etc., there is an opportunity to try your hand at this

Our education portfolio includes the gymnasial educations HHX and HTX, a number of EUD and EUX educations, as well as 10th grade, VUC, AMU and VEU. Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are determined according to the applicable collective agreement. The position is full-time / 37 hours per week.
