IT SUPPORT APPRENTICE

Do you have an interest in technology and IT support?

At SCU – Skanderborg-Odder Center for Education, we are looking for an engaged IT support apprentice. If you have a technical interest and enjoy helping others, you are the person we are looking for.

What will you be doing?

•

Save the day for our staff and students when they have IT challenges

•

Set up new equipment - prepare PCs, install and configure software and ensure that everything works optimally

•

Nerding with new IT equipment - implement new systems and find solutions to complex technical challenges.

•

Ensure stability in the school\'s IT and keep everything running, troubleshoot various IT equipment, including network components.

We are looking for someone who

• Enjoys contact with many people and is clearly service-minded.
• Is responsible and takes pride in achieving the goals of your tasks.
• Is curious and always ready to learn something new - and not afraid to take initiative.
• Has an overview and a good mood, even when things are moving fast.
• Is currently enrolled in or has completed GF2 by June 2026.

About us

We are four employees in the IT department: two permanent staff and two IT-support apprentices. We support about 125 staff and about 1000 students, where the majority use either Windows or Mac PCs.

We have a relaxed and informal tone, where there is also room to have fun.

Salary and employment

The working hours are 37 hours per week, including a lunch break.

Employment is in accordance with the circular on the organizational agreement for craftsmen and technicians (Modst. no. 035-19) as well as the OAO-S joint agreement (Medst. No. 015-22). We pay adult apprentice wages to trainees over 25 years old.
