Job and Education Consultant for Frederiksberg Youth Center

Frederiksberg Youth Center is a successful fusion of Education Guidance, Social Department and employment efforts.

We work from a unified strategy with job in focus; our shared task is to create the framework for young people to obtain work and education. This is based on the Joint Municipal Youth Effort (KUI) and in close collaboration between the different professional disciplines in the center, thus a holistic approach with the young people at the focus.

Your tasks

• Motivate, clarify and guide education-ready, as well as activity-ready youths between 18 and 30 years old, with complex social and psychiatric challenges
• Conduct and register individual contact sessions
• Contact with companies and educational institutions, etc.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary with internal and external partners e.g., Social Department, education guidance, in the psychiatric area, addiction treatment, etc.
• In addition to youth cases, your caseload may include citizens over 30, as the cash benefit area is organizationally consolidated under the same management.

Your profile

• You have a relevant social work background
• You have knowledge of employment legislation
• You can navigate administrative systems (Fasit)
• You are comfortable in a public authority role
• You are able to work across disciplines
• You wish to actively participate in the development of the youth initiative

The positions are anchored in Frederiksberg Municipality's Youth Center at Finsensvej 86.

You report in daily operations to team leader Jeanette Skøtt.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week. Employment is based on the applicable collective agreement, as well as the principles in Ny Løn.
