About us

The Brøndby Residential Care Homes is a warm and inclusive residential facility with a total of 76 residents spread across four sites. The vacant position is at Strandboligerne in Brøndby Strand with 38 residents – together with a strong community of skilled, engaged and helpful colleagues, where we laugh together – even when it’s tough.

We are looking for an engaged social work professional (social educator, occupational therapist, social worker or similar) for a permanent 37-hour position to start as soon as possible.

Who are you in daily life with us?

With us you won’t just go to "work" to tick off tasks on a list. You enter the residents’ homes as a professional support that meets them at eye level. Your main task is to create a structured, safe and meaningful everyday life, where residents are supported to manage their own lives.

Your primary tasks will be

• Build bridges and relationships: You ensure continuity, close follow-up and recovery-oriented support.
• Support ADL structures: You guide and motivate residents in everything from personal mastery, cooking and finances to maintaining employment.
• Ensure professional documentation: You translate pedagogical observations into written documentation, so our methods always align with the residents’ goals.

Who are you as a colleague?

• Have a relevant social or health care education (e.g., social pedagogue, social worker, occupational therapist or SSA).
• Work in a resource-focused and affirming way and see beyond the resident’s behavior.
• Are a team player who is loyal to joint decisions and actively contributes to a positive psychological work environment.

Working hours and framework

The position involves rotating day and evening shifts and every other weekend. We plan the work schedule well in advance to allow for a healthy balance between work and private life.
