About us

Botilbuddene Brøndby is a warm and inclusive sheltered housing facility with a total of 76 residents spread over four sites. The available position is at Strandboligerne in Brøndby Strand with 38 residents – together with a strong community of skilled, engaged and helpful colleagues, where we laugh together – even when it is tough.

We are looking for an engaged social work professional (social educator, occupational therapist, social worker or similar) for a permanent 37-hour position with start as soon as possible.

Who are you in everyday life with us?

With us you won’t just go to work to tick off tasks on a list. You enter the residents' homes as a professional support, meeting them at eye level. Your primary task is to create a structured, safe and meaningful everyday life, where residents are supported in mastering their own lives.

Your main tasks will be

• Build bridges and relationships: You ensure continuity, close follow-up and recovery-oriented support.
• Support ADL structures: You guide and motivate residents in everything from personal mastery, cooking and finances to maintaining employment.
• Ensure professional documentation: You translate pedagogical observations into written documentation, so our methods always align with the residents' goals.

Who are you as a colleague?

We are looking for someone who remains calm when everyday life becomes intense, and who understands that unpredictability requires great patience.

• Have a relevant social or health-related education (e.g., social educator, social worker, occupational therapist or SSA).
• Work resource-focused and appreciative, and see beyond the resident's behavior.
• Are a team player, loyal to joint decisions and actively contribute to a positive psychological work environment.

Working hours and framework

The position includes rotating day and evening shifts and work every other weekend. We plan the schedule well in advance to ensure a healthy balance between work and private life.
