Canteen Assistant wanted for meeting catering and service

Are you passionate about good service, fine presentations and a varied workday? Are you structured, detail-oriented and thriving on making things run smoothly in a busy day? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for to the Children's, School and Family Administration's canteen at Nicolaiplads in the centre of Kolding.

Be part of a small team with great significance

You will be part of a well-functioning team of three skilled and dedicated colleagues who every day provide breakfast, lunch buffet and meeting catering to municipal employees, visitors and meeting participants. There are also events such as receptions and anniversaries.

The cafeteria at Nicolaiplads is one of four cafeterias in Kolding Municipality's administrative buildings in central Kolding. The cafeterias share management, and we continually work to strengthen collaboration across.

We place great emphasis on healthy, tasty and sustainable food. We actively work with the green kitchen and develop varied meals inspired by different food cultures. The food should not only taste good but also be inviting and served with a smile.

Your tasks will include

• Preparation, plating and service for morning, lunch and afternoon meetings
• Light kitchen tasks such as sandwich production, baking and preparation of fruit and vegetables
• Table setting and clearing of meeting rooms as well as handling of meeting bookings via PC.
• Tidying up, dishwashing and cleaning
• Serving coffee machines, as well as following up on inventory of products here

We are looking for a colleague who

• Has experience from canteen, kitchen, cafe or other service function
• Is service-minded, approachable and thrives with contact with many people
• Works in a structured, independent way and has a sense for detail
• Thrives with a varied workday and contributes positively to the community

Employment terms

The position is 33-37 hours per week.

The working hours are primarily Monday to Friday between 7:00 and 15:00.
