About the position

As an apprentice with the Defence Canteens you will receive

We are seeking both gastronomy apprentices and nutrition assistant apprentices – also adult apprentices or those who want a “New Apprenticeship” program. With us you become part of an informal community where we work closely together and support each other.

• You can either have completed the basic program or start in a new apprenticeship.
• You like cooking and are ready to develop your skills.
• You thrive on being busy and working in a team where quality and responsibility are the focus.

Employment terms

The employment is carried out in accordance with the currently applicable Central Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organization – The Public Sector (OAO-S Central Agreement) and the collective agreement for food-related trained staff – kitchen entered into between the Ministry of Finance, CO10 - The Central Organization of 2010 and The Professional Common Union (3F).

There is an employer-funded pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Haderslev.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to some special conditions. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.

You have as an employee an obligation to perform service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.

If you do not have time to have an RPL assessment prepared, you can bring it to a potential interview; alternatively the school can prepare one for a possible employment.

About Establishment and Terrain Command

The Establishment and Terrain Command (ETK) supports and services military and civilian authorities under the Ministry of Defence. Our task is to deliver and develop attractive physical frameworks that are necessary for their daily work.

We build new, maintain, operate canteens and clean service locations across the country.

We are responsible for the green area on behalf of the Defence Ministry, which includes environment, energy and nature care.
