Kitchen assistant at Enghusene (31.5 hours per week)

We are looking for a kitchen assistant for the wonderful children at Enghusene, and you will, together with our cook, be part of a team in Enghusene.

Enghusene is an integrated 0-6 year old institution in Vanløse, close to Damhusengen. We live in two houses: a nursery department and a kindergarten department. There is a requirement for organic gold label, and we work with climate goals, reduction of food waste and milestones for climate-friendly and healthy meals. This means that we work with a focus on legumes, more vegetables and fewer meat days.

When the meal is ready, you transport the food from the nursery to the kindergarten by cargo bike. In the kindergarten, the food is prepared and plated for our lovely children.

We expect that you

• are generous and robust, have an overview, are organized, structured, can work quickly and keep a cool head

• work hygienically and properly and can perform self-checks
• can handle tidying up and cleaning in the kitchen
• can prepare meal plans/menus for a month at a time
• can order and receive groceries
• focus on food joy and present the meals at a 'child-friendly' height
• are responsible and engaged.

Enghusene is part of Nord Klynge M, which consists of seven institutions in total. You will join a working community with the cluster's other kitchens, where we together see opportunities in cross-collaboration. We offer free parking for cars and bicycles.

Employment terms

The position is 31.5 hours per week with start on 1 January 2027. Working hours areGenerally every day from 07:00-13:00/14:30. Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local wage formation. In connection with the recruitment, we will obtain child and criminal background checks and take references.
