Citizen-Centered Health is a new regional department that offers citizens with different health care issues a targeted stay at Health and Care Centers in the southern Jutland municipalities.

We are seeking dietetic staff in Løgumkloster and Rødekro starting 1 January 2027.

The goal of the Citizen-Centered Health department at Southern Denmark Hospital is, among other things, to strengthen treatment close to the citizen and handle more health tasks outside hospitals. This means that some citizens will receive medical treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning at the Health and Care Centers. We want to offer citizens good, varied, and nutritionally appropriate food that takes into account their individual needs – also when appetite is small or when extra nourishment is needed to recover after illness or to have enough energy for intensive training.

Your tasks

You will be employed and have day-to-day presence together with your colleagues in one of the kitchens, where we prepare the day’s main meals and light meals for the citizens.

In Løgumkloster we prepare food for 21 citizens and in Rødekro for 26 citizens.

Your tasks range from handling raw materials, ordering supplies, baking and cooking to plating, serving and cleaning in the kitchen. You contribute to making the meal a sought-after positive part of the stay, where the food is appealing and adapted to the citizens’ needs.

We are looking for you who

• Have a kitchen-related education, e.g. cook, nutrition assistant, caterer or relevant experience from kitchen work.
• Have good kitchen skills and an interest in nutrition and food for citizens with different needs.
• Work responsibly and steadily and are flexible in everyday life.
• Can plan and coordinate your tasks and maintain an overview in a varied daily life
• Possible coordinator role, where you are responsible for making menus and ordering goods accordingly
• Thrive on collaboration across professional groups and contribute positively to the work community at the Health and Care Centers
• Face daily work with engagement, drive, and good humor.

You will have your daily workplace at one of the following addresses

• Løgumkloster: Health and Care Centers, Sølstedgårdvej 11A.
• Rødekro: Health and Care Centers, Funkevej 9A.

You report to the center leader of the Health and Care Centers at your workplace.

Employment terms

You will report to the manager of the Health and Care Centers in either Løgumkloster or Rødekro.

The positions are 30-37 hours. Working hours are daytime with weekend shift every 3rd week.

Employment is desired from 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be told base salary, centrally set allowances, and pension in Agreement for Non-Management Staff in the Health Cartel area 32.17.1 - salary as of 1.4.2026. In addition to the starting salary, the salary may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
