Kitchen assistant wanted for Holbo in Gribskov

We are seeking a kitchen assistant to run the kitchen at our pedagogical residential facility in Gribskov. You can expect a workplace where we place a high value on a good working environment. You will have skilled and caring colleagues and approachable management.

As you are the sole person responsible for our kitchen, there will be great freedom to influence your workflows. At the same time there is also a need for you to be a team player who can make an effort to adapt the food to the house's different needs.

Your duties will be

• Run the kitchen
• Preparation of lunch and dinner for residents and staff
• Responsible for procurement for and accounting for the kitchen
• Daily cleaning of the kitchen at the residential facility

Da we are a pedagogical residential facility, it would be advantageous if you have experience working in a pedagogical setting.

Working hours are during the daytime, typically with a start between 7 and 8, and can be arranged as needed in agreement with the residential facility manager.

We expect that you

• Have experience with professional kitchen operation
• Have knowledge of preparing meals according to special diets – preferably knowledge of autism-friendly meals
• Can prepare varied and healthy meals
• Can prepare meal plans on a weekly and monthly basis
• Can order goods and keep accounts of consumption
• Has an eye for detail and can organize your working time efficiently
• Has an independent approach to task solving – and solves them to a high standard
• Is service-minded and motivated to deliver a good result
• Contributes actively to a positive working environment

About HabitusHuset Holbo

We are a newly started pedagogical residential facility that provides the framework for residents with complex developmental challenges. The house is located in a scenic and quiet area in North Zealand. The facility is surrounded by open green landscapes, forest areas and meadow paths, which are characteristic of Græsted and the local area around Gribskov.

The surroundings of Holbo are characterized by homeliness, clarity and sensory-stimulating opportunities that create safety and support the residents’ well-being and development. The surroundings offer good opportunities for nature-based activities, calm walks, structure in everyday life, and an environment where residents can develop at a pace and in a way that matches their individual needs.

As a facility governed by sections 104, 107 and 108, each resident has their own apartment and also shares common indoor and outdoor areas, which enables residents to socialize as much as they are able, to go out into nature and develop through the many sensory experiences they find there and at the same time have the opportunity to withdraw when they need to find calm.
