Marjatta seeks kitchen manager for the School Home by Præstø Fjord

The kitchen at Marjatta School Home is a workplace with many activities, good development opportunities and "the good meal" as a central part of daily life. In the kitchen we make organic and biodynamic food from scratch, and every day food is prepared for about 150 people.

We are looking for a committed and professionally strong kitchen manager in 37 hours/week to lead our kitchen. As kitchen manager you will be responsible for the daily operation, planning and development of the kitchen as well as managing the team of about 10 employees. You will become an active part of everyday life in the kitchen and at the same time contribute to ensuring high quality, good workflows and good collaboration.

You should have a positive outlook and feel that interacting with developmentally challenged children and young people is a natural part of everyday life. You should have a strong interest in and a desire to work with organic and biodynamic ingredients and continue to develop the kitchen's professionalism, quality and sustainable profile.

We are seeking a new leader who

• has experience with leadership and operation of a kitchen, including responsibility for budget, purchasing, food safety and internal control
• can plan and coordinate daily production
• can motivate, support and develop employees
• works in a structured way and has an eye for both operations, economy and quality in interaction
• is good at collaborating and has strong social skills
• has experience with interacting with children and young people with developmental disabilities

Salary and employment: Employment and salary placement are according to the regional agreement for leaders in the health cartel area and Marjatta's locally agreed pre-arrangements.

Starting salary for collective agreement employees: Marjatta is bound by the operating agreement with Region Zealand to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally set allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
