Kitchen assistant wanted for an efterskole in Tølløse – Start as soon as possible

FIRMAVIKAR is seeking an experienced and reliable kitchen assistant for a long-term temporary position at a Danish boarding school (efterskole) in Tølløse.

On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a skilled kitchen worker who can help with daily cooking and the practical tasks in a larger efterskole kitchen.

The efterskole has about 165 students and 30 staff members, who need meals daily. You will be part of the kitchen's daily operation and help ensure that meals are prepared and served on time.

As students also participate in the kitchen work, it is important that you are approachable, patient, and enjoy working with young people.

Arbejdsopgaver

Your main tasks will include

• Preparation of breakfast, lunch and other meals as needed
• Assistance with daily food production
• Preparation and presentation of food
• Collaboration with the other kitchen staff and students
• Washing up, cleaning and general kitchen hygiene
• Other practical tasks in the kitchen

Vi forventer, at du

• Have experience with cooking, preferably from large-scale kitchens, canteens or institutional kitchens
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Are reliable, flexible and have a positive attitude
• Speak and understand Danish.
• Have a good demeanor and thrive with young people
• Can maintain an overview in a busy kitchen

Arbejdstider og ansættelse

Arbejdssted: 4340 Tølløse

Opstart: As soon as possible

Varighed: Expected until 1 December 2026, with the possibility of extension depending on need.

Arbejdstider

• Monday: 08:00–14:30
• Tuesday: 07:00–14:30
• Wednesday: 07:00–14:30

Arbejdstid: Approximately 21.5 hours per week.
