We are seeking a trained nutrition-focused employee for a permanent position at Børnehuset Videbechs Minde. The position is desired to be filled by January 1, 2027

A little about us

Børnehuset Videbechs Minde is an integrated nursery, located in Overlund, where we have wonderful facilities both outside and inside. The nursery houses 26 lovely toddlers and about 40 lovely preschool children. The staff group of 18 employees is ready to welcome you as our new colleague.

We work from an appreciative approach, where emphasis is placed on seeing the big in the small. Play and learning are central in the child’s preschool life, and we expect that you can support the child in positive learning processes in connection with meals. A little about you

You will have daily responsibility for the operation of the kitchen. Therefore you can work independently and can manage all processes related to the meal for 70-80 people. You can oversee several processes at once, as there is breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack.

You are reliable and flexible, have a good overview and can structure and organize your work for the benefit of the whole house.

You have an eye for detail and see it as an important task to create healthy, colorful and tasty meals for our children.

You can thrive working in an open kitchen, where you both want to create sensory food experiences for the children and are aware that you are a good role model.

You are inclusive and acknowledging and can cooperate with our practical kitchen assistant in an equal and respectful manner, and involve her in practical tasks in the kitchen.

You could be the right fit for us when you

• Have the 4-year-old nutritionist qualification or another nutrition-related education
• Have control of all processes related to planning, organizing and preparing the meal
• Have knowledge of current guidelines for a healthy and nutritious meal for children 0-6 years
• Can keep order and structure in the kitchen
• Have knowledge of the current guidelines for own control and hygiene in the kitchen – and live up to them
• Can work within an allocated financial framework
• Can work independently and dare take responsibility
• Are appreciative in your approach to children and adults
• Can and want to work according to our core task and value base
• Can connect the meal to an educational daily routine
• Can contribute to a good working environment in a constructive way
