About the position

We teach apprentices and course participants in various programs and courses. The levels may vary, while the focus of our activities is aimed at automation.

The teaching is practice-oriented and project-organized, and you use your experience and your commitment to inspire and motivate, so the teaching makes sense.

We match your tasks to your strengths, and you will receive on-the-job training and further education where necessary.

Who are we?

We are four instructors in our team, and we look forward to welcoming one more colleague to the team.

You will become part of an experienced team where we share knowledge and collaborate on planning and development of teaching. In addition to professionalism, we also value the social community and a good mood highly.

The main areas of our teaching are the following, and we expect that you are strong in one or more of the areas:

• PLC technology from basic level
• Assembly and wiring and selection of control/actuator devices
• HMI and SCADA
• Motor control with frequency converters
• Troubleshooting and measurement technology
• Basic and practical analog electronics
• Electrical documentation and quality assurance

Who are you?

• You are a trained electrician, automation technician or equivalent
• You have experience in the automation field and/or have an advanced qualification on top of your training
• You are theoretically curious, and you want to translate your theoretical and practical knowledge into motivating teaching
• You know that a safe framework and a good atmosphere are important for good collaboration and learning
• You possess good social skills and thrive in an environment with camaraderie and a high-spirited mood
• Experience with teaching is a plus, but not a requirement, as we in the team and through training will help you on the way.

Salary and employment terms

This is a permanent full-time position of 37 hours per week, starting 1 January 2027 or by agreement.

Workplace is Øster Uttrup Vej 1, 9000 Aalborg.

Employment and remuneration are based on qualifications and in accordance with the Danish Ministry of Education's Order no. 101 of 1 February 2007 on terms of employment for civil service–like staff at institutions for vocational education and canteen departments.

The position includes a two-year probationary period in accordance with the provisions of the employment notice no. 101 of 01.02.2007. Applicants without pedagogical training must complete a pedagogical diploma no later than 4 years after recruitment.
