At Hillerød Day Treatment School we are seeking a teacher with competencies in Danish and English for our primary school team at department Ullerødskolen.

You will become part of a school which within the coming year will be gathered in new premises in Alsønderup, and which at the same time faces a shared competence development program in neuroaffective developmental psychology, in collaboration with Susan Hart.

Something special is happening at HDS right now

Within the coming year the school's two departments will be gathered in Alsønderup in a newly renovated school with modern teaching environments and new outdoor areas.

At the same time we are heading for a shared competence development program for all staff in collaboration with Susan Hart.

The ambition is to strengthen our common professional stance and create a clear coherence between competence development, supervision and daily practice around the children. Susan Hart and her colleagues are also expected to provide the future supervision at the school, so that there is a thread between education, supervision and the daily work with the children.

Who are we?

Hillerød Day Treatment School is a day treatment and school offering for children and young people with social, emotional and developmental challenges.

You will be attached to our primary group at Ullerødskolen, where the student group is small, and where there are good opportunities to work relationally and differentiated.

Each team consists of about 10 students and 5 fixed adults. This enables close collaboration, joint reflection and a strong focus on the individual child.

You will become part of a close and committed collaboration between teachers, pedagogues, psychologist and family therapists around the children.

In addition to teaching you will become the contact person for 1-2 pupils and take an important role in the collaboration with their families.

We are ambitious for the children, but we also believe that humor, helpfulness and strong collegial communities are an important prerequisite for succeeding with the task.

We are looking for a teacher who

• has major subject or strong competencies in Danish and English
• is focused on children's learning, well-being and development
• can create clear frameworks and at the same time work flexibly
• thrives in close team collaboration
• wants to be an active part of the school's continued development

Experience from the special education area is an advantage. However, the most important thing is that you are curious about the children, the relationships and the interdisciplinary collaboration.

Practical information

Employment: Full time with as soon as possible start.

Salary: According to applicable agreement with DLF plus allowances.

Terms of employment

You are employed in a fixed-term position. It is a temporary position to cover for an absent employee, and the employment ends without notice when the absent employee returns.
