Warehouse Manager with freedom under responsibility wanted in Horsens

Are you structured, practically minded, and do you thrive with freedom under responsibility? Then we are looking for a warehouse supervisor who can keep track of the warehouse, take care of the packing area, and ensure that goods come in and out safely.

We are looking for a warehouse supervisor for a permanent position, where you will be responsible for the daily operation of the warehouse. You will be the only employee with the warehouse as your area of responsibility, so it is important that you enjoy working independently and can make everyday life work on your own.

You will be responsible for goods receipt, registration, and shipments, as well as ensuring that the packing area functions and that the goods are safely moved on. You will have great freedom to plan your tasks, but it also requires you to take initiative and follow things through.

You certainly will not be left to yourself from day one. You will receive on-the-job training so you are brought up to speed with the workflows and you learn the systems and routines before you take on the daily responsibility yourself.

Even though you work alone in the warehouse, you will have an important role in daily operations with ongoing dialogue with production. Together you ensure that materials and goods are in place when they are needed.

What you will do

• Receive goods and check that deliveries match
• Keep track of what comes in and out of the warehouse
• Prepare, pack, and ship goods
• Ensure the warehouse is clear and organized
• Follow up on stock levels and missing items
• Coordinate with production regarding materials and deliveries
• Handle goods with a forklift as needed
• Plan and prioritize your own tasks throughout the day.
