We are seeking a competent and business-oriented leader for Huset Venture Aarhus’ Accounting Services department. You should – in addition to a strong focus on operations – be committed to social responsibility, as we are a social enterprise with the aim of employing people in flexible jobs.

Huset Venture Aarhus is seeking an experienced finance and accounting leader for a strong social economy company.

You have a solid grasp of audit craftsmanship, clients and advisory roles. At Huset Venture you will have the opportunity to shape, among other things, a chapter in your career as Head of Accounting Services – a department with dedicated employees – all in flexible jobs. We are seeking a strong professional profile who wishes to combine business operations, client contact and department leadership with an inclusive and meaningful labor market.

Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility

· Department leadership with inclusivity: Professional and personnel leadership of the accounting team. You lead with high professional standards and demonstrate the inclusivity and human insight that characterizes a social enterprise. You are hands-on at work with a focus together with the employees on the individual tasks. You are quality-conscious and dedicated.

· Client responsibility and advisory: Responsibility for the department’s clients and approach to new ones. You function as a close sparring partner for private owner-managed businesses, SMEs, associations, etc., and enjoy working with creating value that extends beyond the accounting itself.

· Client access and sales: You can actively build relationships, attract new clients and expand the client portfolio for Accounting Services.

· Quality assurance & development: You can ensure high quality in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax calculations and declarations, as well as continuously optimize and digitize work processes.

Who are you?

· Background and experience: You have several years of experience from the audit industry and are educated HD(R), cand.merc.aud. or similar. Very preferably registered or deposited. You master accounting, bookkeeping, tax and declaration tasks for both companies, personally owned businesses and associations.

· Security and momentum: You drive your tasks and the department safely from planning to delivery and thrive with a full overview.

· Relationships and sales: You are motivated by ongoing dialogue with clients and have a knack and desire to build networks and acquire new clients.

· Engaged leader: You are curious about developing your employees’ abilities and your own leadership skills. You are motivated by seeing your employees thrive and develop.

About daily life at Huset Venture

We have a busy department with many exciting tasks for external customers. The day may start with professional sparring or quality assurance of a task for a private individual, a privately owned business or a company. Later you sit across from a client or a potential new client who needs close advisory on accounting, taxes and business decisions. By the end of the day, you have discussed professional issues and operations with the team in the office, where hands-on leadership, sparring and development are a natural part of everyday life.
