Employment terms Physiotherapist temporary position sought for medical group, Herlev and Gentofte Hospital – Herlev campus

The Employment

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist for a 4-month temporary position of 35 hours per week starting 01.12.26 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The Department of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy is an independent department at Herlev and Gentofte Hospital. You will be employed at the combined Herlev and Gentofte Hospital, with function, as a starting point, at the Herlev campus.

The position is affiliated with the medical group. There will be collaboration with colleagues across the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy disciplines.

The Medical Group consists of both physiotherapists and occupational therapists, who cover the medical specialties within endocrinology, infectious diseases, geriatrics, pulmonology, and cardiology. We also have specialized group training in the heart and lung areas.

About the position

In daily work, we strive, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary colleagues, to contribute to holistic treatment pathways with the patient at the center. Assessment of functional performance, respiratory physiotherapy, assistive device assessment, discharge planning, and good communication are core competences in the management of good inpatient care pathways and safe discharges at an acute hospital like ours. Specialized group training is also a large part of everyday life.

Our daily life is very diverse and can involve many exciting tasks such as cross-disciplinary and mono-disciplinary teaching, multidisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration, and involvement in research and project work in collaboration with our research and development group. In addition, we participate in ergonomics tasks as well as in staff training on patient handling in the hospital.

In addition we offer

  • A daily life where the patient is at the center and where physiotherapists participate in close multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure quality and continuity in the patient pathway
  • A workplace where we emphasize development and continue to seek to increase the quality of our task execution. We prioritize multidisciplinary collaboration, teamwork, value-based leadership and competence development highly
  • Dedicated and skilled colleagues who continuously work to create a workplace with an inspiring professional environment and high well-being
  • For general employee benefits at Herlev and Gentofte Hospital see https://www.herlevhospital.dk/job-og-uddannelse/For-nyansatte/Godt-at-vide-foer-jobstart/Sider/Personaletilbud-regionh.aspx

We expect that you

  • Show respect and presence towards the patients, your colleagues and your collaborators
  • Work independently, take responsibility for your own professional development and take responsibility for the tasks in the group
  • Have an engaged and professional approach to your work tasks and the development of the profession
  • Be motivated by the challenges and opportunities of working at a large acute hospital where the length of stay is often short.
  • Be interested in and preferably have experience with providing group training and would like to contribute to solving this task.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement for non-management staff entered into between Danish Physiotherapists and the Regional Pay and Tariff Board.
