Physiotherapist temporary position in Training and Prevention

Are you also motivated to help and support the citizens who need a professional hand in the back and guide those who can do it themselves to relevant training environments where they can continue their training?

We are looking for an engaged physiotherapist for a 1-year temporary position at 30 hours per week in our orthopedic team.

We work with the citizen at the center

In Fredericia Municipality, we work from a rehabilitative approach, starting from the individual citizen's functional ability, resources and needs. We want to give citizens the right support at the right time with a focus on rehabilitation, independence and the opportunities to be active in daily life.

We place emphasis on creating cohesive pathways where we support citizens in regaining their functional ability and becoming as self-reliant as possible. It is not only about training a function but also about supporting the citizen's possibilities to return to the activities and communities that matter in daily life.

We expect that you

• Are a licensed physiotherapist and want to work with rehabilitation within the orthopedic surgical field.
• Are professionally well-founded, and preferably have experience with orthopedic surgical rehabilitation
• Can plan, implement and adapt rehabilitation programs with a focus on progression, functional ability and the citizen's possibilities to become self-reliant.
• Can make professional assessments of the citizen's functional ability based on, among other things, ICF, the citizen's resources and individual goals.
• Are good at building relationships and collaborating with both citizens, relatives, partners and colleagues.
• Communicate clearly and appreciatively – both verbally and in writing – with citizens, relatives, partners and colleagues and have good communication skills.
• Can work independently and at the same time contribute actively to a team where we use each other's professional knowledge and view diversity as a strength.
• Can apply IT in connection with guidance, training programs, documentation and communication – and preferably have knowledge of KMD Nexus.
• Contribute to a good professional and social working environment and enjoy developing both your own and our joint practice.

Who are we?

Training & Prevention is a workplace with about 54 employees who each day work to create good and coherent pathways for citizens.

We handle rehabilitation after the Health Act § 140, rehabilitation and maintenance training after the Social Services Act § 86 as well as patient-targeted prevention after the Health Act § 119 for citizens with chronic diseases.

We are an ambitious department that works from a rehabilitation mindset and the ICF as a conceptual framework. We base ourselves on evidence-based practice and focus on how we best support citizens' function, independence and participation in everyday life.

For us, a good rehabilitation course also means looking forward. We therefore work purposefully to create coherence between rehabilitation and the citizen's opportunities to continue training in other relevant environments. We want to help citizens move forward well so they can maintain their progress and stay active in daily life.

We are curious about new possibilities and continuously develop our practice. This includes, among other things, that we use digital solutions when they make sense for the citizen and support our efforts.

Your primary workplace will be at the Health House in Fredericia.

Training & Prevention is organized under the Department of Elderly and Health, and we work based on the shared strategy “The joy of good everyday life.”

Salary and employment terms

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

There is a one-year temporary position at 30 hours per week.

Start date 1 January 2027.

When hired, references will be requested.

Criminal record

When hired, a criminal record certificate will be obtained. The employment is conditional on the criminal record being free of any convictions relevant to performing the specific position.
