About the job

Do you want to work in a dynamic hospital environment where your physiotherapeutic expertise contributes directly to the unified neurological patient assessment in the interdisciplinary collaboration?

Do you have neurological experience or a desire to work with neurological patient pathways at an acute hospital? Here you will become part of a tight interdisciplinary environment with strong specialization, humor in everyday life and good colleagues, where there is opportunity for sparring and development.

We are seeking a physiotherapist for 37 hours per week as of 1 February 2027 in neurology. Working hours are 7:30-14:54 on weekdays plus weekend shifts about every 7 weeks, and shifts on holidays.

We can offer you;

  • An active mono- and interprofessional colleague group with extensive experience within the specialty, where daily sparring, knowledge sharing and learning take place.
  • Thorough introduction and training, followed by a mentorship program
  • A workplace where the working environment is highly prioritized and there is approachable leadership
  • An interdisciplinary environment where respect for others’ professionalism is highly valued
  • A practice where many physiotherapeutic examination methods are used, and there is a high degree of independence

Your tasks;

  • Interdisciplinary coordination and prioritization of patient pathways, and contribution to an interdisciplinary consolidated neurological assessment and further patient pathways.
  • Assessment of the patient’s functional ability and potential for rehabilitation
  • Patient interventions relevant to the individual patient pathway
  • Preparation of rehabilitation plans and documentation in the electronic patient journal (EPJ)
  • For further information see the Job and Function Description

We imagine that you;

  • Have authorization as a physiotherapist
  • Can work independently, have good collaboration skills and a desire to develop the interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Have strong competencies regarding flexibility and the ability to maintain an overview in a busy daily life that is often unpredictable, where plans may need to be revised
  • Have relevant neurological experience from hospital or municipal settings – or a desire to develop yourself in the area
  • Would like to further develop our Spasticity outpatient clinic, where physiotherapists administer Botox injections under delegation
  • Wish to participate in professional development, be curious about what you can contribute, and be ready to seize opportunities to put your expertise to use.

About the position;

It is a permanent position, which we wish to fill from 1 February 2027.

The position is initially 37 hours per week.

Working hours at present are 7:30-14:54 on weekdays. There is a shift about every 7th weekend and some holidays during the year. Holidays and days off are planned in dialogue with the physiotherapists in the department.
