Logistics Assistant

Do you want to take ownership of global transport and ensure that large interior design projects arrive on time?

As a logistics assistant with our client in Kolding, you will have a central role on a full-time basis in an exciting, longer-term temporary position that runs for the rest of the year.

You will be responsible for tying together internal departments and external collaborators so that goods always arrive precisely. You can look forward to a role with great influence in an informal, rapidly developing company.

Your tasks

In your daily work at the headquarters in Kolding, you function as the logistical hub. You ensure a smooth flow from start to finish, and when the schedule tightens, you keep an overview and find the right solution for both customers and partners.

• You plan and book national and international freight so projects arrive at the agreed time
• You prepare the necessary freight, customs and export documents and ensure they always accompany the goods
• You closely follow transport flow and deliveries so all parties are updated throughout the process
• You obtain quotes for transports, approve invoices and handle any claims with a smile

Your profile and toolkit

To thrive in the role you work in a structured way and are able to stay calm when everyday life brings high tempo and rapid changes. You meet both customers and colleagues with trust and an appreciative tone, and you naturally take ownership of your tasks.

• You have solid experience with handling, booking and following up shipments in both domestic and international contexts
• You speak and write fluently in both Danish and English
• You are an experienced IT user who easily navigates digital systems

It is a plus if you have a formal education as a freight forwarder, but the key is your practical experience in logistics. If you already know Microsoft Dynamics AX and the Office suite, you will quickly feel at home in the systems.

Because our client operates internationally, it is also an advantage if you can operate in German, but it is not a requirement.
