About the job

Do you want to play a key role in keeping Denmark's railways running? Are you skilled in planning, deliveries and cross-functional coordination? Then become part of our growth and help us build the sustainable infrastructure solutions of the future.

At Banedanmark we are currently carrying out a number of historically large railway projects, so hundreds of thousands of passengers and goods can reach their destinations safely every day. For the contractors to perform their work efficiently on the construction sites, the right materials and client deliveries must be ready at precisely the right time.

As our new Supply Planner you will be a central piece in the Purchasing and Supply Planning section. In the team we continuously work on our processes and ways of working, so you will have ample opportunity to shape them.

Your role and day-to-day

As a Supply Planner you are the link between procurement, design, construction management and suppliers. You take ownership of the supply chain for one or more major railway projects from start to finish.

The day-to-day is varied, and you will alternate between strategic planning from our modern office in central Copenhagen and on-site follow-up directly at the construction sites.

Your main tasks include, among others

  • Quality assurance & Planning: You ensure an overview of client deliveries and develop realistic time and ordering plans in close dialogue with design leads and purchasers
  • On-site follow-up: You follow the materials through to the end and ensure timely delivery to construction sites.
  • Single Point of Contact: You function as the project's primary entry point for material coordination across the organization
  • Change management: You handle changes in deliveries, design or requests from project managers and contractors in a timely and effective manner and step in with urgent assistance when projects demand it.
  • Process optimization :

You contribute to further develop our standards, quality assurance and checklists.

Who are you?

There can be many ways into the job – for example as a logistics economist or with another relevant higher education. You have knowledge of Supply Chain Management or other relevant experience with planning and logistics.

The most important is that you work in a structured way, have a solid sense of logistics and are good at coordinating and creating an overview.

You thrive in a role with collaboration across different professional groups. It is therefore also important that you communicate clearly, openly and constructively and follow up on deadlines and quality.

At the same time you are motivated to dive into the details when the task requires it. You can therefore both maintain an overview and go down into the details to ensure that things fit together and are carried through to completion.

Knowledge of the railway sector, SAP and MS Excel is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Your new workplace and colleagues

With us you get a job with real societal impact. You will also become part of a committed professional environment with skilled colleagues and an informal tone of voice.

We place emphasis on well-being, professional development and the opportunity to take responsibility for your own tasks. In addition, you have flexibility in everyday life with the possibility of remote work when tasks permit and flexible working hours.

Your new workplace is centrally located in Copenhagen close to Fisketorvet and Dybbølsbro Station with good parking options for both car and bike. In addition we have a shared canteen, fruit scheme, café and a gym.

Salary and employment terms

You are employed under the currently applicable Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organisations – The Public Sector (OAO-S Joint Agreement) and the organisational agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT employees.

The position is essentially placed between salary group 3.3 in the Capital Region in accordance with the current agreement, which you can find here and the Employee and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you can find here.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies there is a possibility for negotiating a supplement. The total salary will include an employer-funded pension scheme of 16%.
