About the education

It is a requirement that you are in progress with or have completed Grundforløb 2 aimed at the pedagogical assistant education, so that you can apply for the trainee position.

The education alternates between school stays and on-the-job training. The school stays take place at SOSU Nord in Aalborg. Your on-the-job training takes place in various day-care services, schools and special services in Frederikshavn Municipality.

Employment and pay

When you are employed, we enter into an education agreement with you. You receive trainee pay throughout the entire training.

The working hours are 37 hours per week. Salary and other terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement with FOA.

We will obtain criminal record and child protection checks as part of the hiring process.
