Mathematics teacher with music on the rise at Glavendrup School, Søndersø

At Glavendrupskolen we are looking for an engaged and academically strong teacher with mathematics as a major subject and music as an important part of their professional profile.

We are looking for a teacher who can create strong learning communities, spark students' curiosity and make mathematics relevant and meaningful. At the same time, we wish for a colleague who is keen to bring music into the school's daily life and help support the communities that arise through singing and music.

The position is a permanent full-time role with commencement on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

About the position

Mathematics will be your primary teaching subject, and we therefore seek a teacher who can create clear academic progression and motivating teaching for students with different prerequisites.

At the same time, we would like you to have competencies in music and a desire to contribute to the school's musical life.

You will become part of a year-group team around our upcoming 5th grade, where you together with a colleague will take on the role as shared form teacher. We place emphasis on close collaboration regarding both the students' academic development and the class's well-being.

A special task will also be to lead the school's daily morning song in close cooperation with a colleague. The morning song is an important part of Glavendrupskolen's culture and community, and we are looking for a colleague who wants to continue and develop this tradition together with students and staff.

• has a major in mathematics and can teach music

• is a clear and engaging form teacher
• wishes to take on the role as shared form teacher in a 5th grade

Employment

The position is a permanent full-time role with commencement as soon as possible and no later than 1 December 2026.

The expected salary range will be provided at the first interview. The final salary is determined based on your qualifications and previous work experience and after specific negotiation with the relevant professional association.

A child's and criminal background check will be obtained prior to employment.
