Then we would like you to join the team in our teams!

At Børnehuset Svanen we are looking for an assistant pedagogical worker who wants to become part of our community and get to know the profession in practice. With us you get the opportunity to develop together with the children and your colleagues – with play as the central focus and nature and movement as a natural part of everyday life.

We are a cozy nursery, about a 10-minute walk from Lyngby Station. We have a large, lovely garden and playground where we can explore nature, move around, and come up with new games together.

Our profile is GREEN – nature and movement . We have both a nature workshop and a movement room of 40 m², which give us good opportunities to explore, experiment and create fun activities with the children. We are a certified sports institution and have the Green Flag from Friluftsrådet.

We are a house with 96 children, 10 pedagogues, two PAUs, three students and ten young assistants. We work across the house and help each other, because we believe that a good childhood is created in community.

Children are divided into three teams by age and development level. This allows us to plan activities and learning environments based on the children's needs, curiosity and development – both as individuals and as part of a group.

Throughout the year we work with theme weeks, where we support the children's well-being, learning, development and formation with a playful approach.

With us you learn through practice and in dialogue with us.

You do not need to know everything from the start. We are focused on you wanting to learn, ask questions and be curious about the children and the pedagogical work.

We actively use Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality's Quality Guide in our work to develop the quality of the pedagogical learning environment. We are focused on creating a daily life where children meet with recognition, care and clear adults. With us we believe that children learn and develop best when they feel safe, and when we meet them with respect rather than scolding.
