About the job

Medical Secretary for the Gynecological Outpatient Clinic

We have taken on several exciting tasks and are lucky enough to welcome another colleague to our secretariat in the Gynecological Outpatient Clinic – perhaps it is you we are looking for?

We are seeking a trained medical secretary/health administrative coordinator as of January 1 or by agreement.

With us, the secretaries play a central role in making the good patient pathways hang together. You will become part of a well-functioning secretary team, where we both strive to deliver a high professional level and enjoy a everyday life where we help each other and get along well.

We work closely across professional groups and sections, and as a secretary you will be an important part of the interdisciplinary collaboration with the department's doctors and nurses.

Our everyday life

We are a secretary group of three who can take on each other’s tasks. This means that we can help and relieve each other in everyday life, and when a colleague is on vacation or has time off, there isn’t a lot of work waiting when you return.

In addition, we each have different areas of responsibility – including mail editor, registration responsible, pathway coordinator and shop steward.

We work according to a fixed rotation, which means that each week we sit with different tasks. Every third week we have, among other things, booking, which is a larger and important part of our work. It is therefore important that you want to learn the booking task thoroughly and become familiar with it.

Our tasks

With us you become an important part of everyday life and help ensure that patient pathways hang well together from start to finish. You will have a varied workday where coordination, contact with people and administrative tasks go hand in hand.

Your tasks will include, among other things, to

  • book, invite to and coordinate patient pathways
  • have telephone and written contact with patients and other professionals
  • coordinate across professional groups and functions
  • register and follow up on patient pathways so that the details are in order
  • work with quality and debrief lists and help ensure a good flow in patient pathways

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is educated as a medical secretary or health administrative coordinator, and who wants to become part of a team where we take our work and each other seriously.

You thrive in a busy and varied daily life where no two days are necessarily the same. You are approachable and engaged and have a sense of creating a good experience for both patients and colleagues. At the same time you take responsibility for your tasks and care about doing things properly.

You do not need to know everything from the start. The most important for us is that you want to learn, take responsibility and want to be part of the community. We help each other to get into the tasks well and ensure that you are well prepared – also for the booking task.

What do we offer?

With us you don’t just get a job – you become part of a secretariat where we place emphasis on both professionalism, development and a good collegial community.

We offer

  • an interesting specialty with high activity and ongoing development
  • a daily life with exciting and varied tasks
  • a well-functioning secretariat with room for both professional sparring and a good collegial atmosphere
  • engaged and helpful colleagues across professional groups
  • a thorough and solid onboarding, so you get a good start with us

The position is 37 hours per week with start date January 1 or by agreement.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for Health Administrative staff entered into with HK.

Application deadline: November 17, 2027.

Interviews are expected to be held: November 20, 2027.

If you would like to know more about the position, you are welcome to contact Health Administrative Chief, Helle Kragbæk Nordentoft, tel. 61 63 08 94.
