Merchandiser Christmas assistance sought for Silkeborg – with possibility of extension

Knuthenborg Safari Park is seeking a zookeeper for our savanna team, where you will be part of the daily care and development around the park's animals.

On the savanna team we work, among other things, with giraffes, eland antelopes, black wildebeest, gnus, ostriches, goats and donkeys.

If you have experience with savanna animals or any of the above species, it is a clear advantage - but most important is that you have a strong professional interest in the animals and a desire to develop yourself in the work with the animals.

Your daily life with us

As a zookeeper on the savanna team you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for the daily

care and tending of the animals. The work includes, among other things, feeding, cleaning, observation,

enrichment and training, as well as ongoing development of the animals' enclosures and daily life.

You should enjoy getting to know the individual animals and be curious about how we can continually develop our work and create the best possible conditions for them.

Knuthenborg is a park in constant development. Therefore you will not only be part of the daily

operations - we also expect you to contribute ideas and take part in the development of our animal stock

and enclosures.

The position is full-time with shifts every 3rd weekend.

Even though you will be attached to the savanna team, we are a single animal department. We help each other across the department when needed, and we expect you to have the same approach.

You will be part of our animal department with 15 employees, where teamwork is an important part of daily life.

If you have experience with larger machinery, that's an advantage.
