About the job

Do you have clinical experience from psychiatry and would you like to help support the development of clinical guidelines in close collaboration with the country’s leading specialists in the field of psychiatry?

Then you may be the one we are looking for as a method consultant at the Danish Health Quality Institute (SundK).

In connection with the 10-year plan for Psychiatry and Mental Health, SundK has been given the task of supporting the Danish Multidisciplinary Psychiatry Groups (DMPG) in developing clinical guidelines. Therefore, we need another method consultant in SundK’s Quality Department B - Psychiatry, Acute Illness, Pregnancy and Children.

About the position

You will become part of the Quality Unit B, which among other things supports the Danish Multidisciplinary Psychiatry Groups (DMPG) in the development and updating of clinical guidelines.

DMPG brings together professionals across specialties and sectors with the common goal of ensuring high and uniform quality in assessment, treatment and follow-up for people with mental disorders. As a method consultant, you will play a central role in collaboration with the professional environments and contribute to guidelines being developed on an evidence-based basis and translated into usable recommendations for clinical practice.

You will work closely with psychiatrists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers and other professionals from across the country.

In addition, you will be part of SundK’s cross-cutting Guideline Function, where we develop shared methods, tools and workflows across the organization.

Your tasks

You will among other things

  • Support the development, updating and implementation of clinical guidelines in the psychiatry field
  • Facilitate working groups and meetings with clinical experts and professional associations
  • Advise on the selection of good topics, literature searches, evidence assessment and formulation of recommendations
  • Contribute to translating research and evidence into practice-oriented recommendations
  • Ensure progress of guideline projects in close collaboration with the professional environments
  • Contribute to further development of methods, processes and tools in guideline work
  • Participate in cross-cutting collaborations with, among others, quality consultants and epidemiologists at SundK on quality, data and improvement of patient pathways

With us you get

  • A central role in the development of the quality work of the future in the psychiatry field
  • Opportunity to work closely with some of the country’s strongest professional environments
  • A varied daily work with both method work, process facilitation and development tasks
  • An engaged and cross-disciplinary work environment with high professionalism and helpful colleagues
  • A high degree of independence and the possibility to influence tasks and ways of working
  • Good opportunities for professional and personal development.

About you

We imagine that you

  • Have a relevant health sciences or health professional education and experience in quality development, evidence work or similar methodological tasks
  • Have clinical experience from psychiatry and insights into the challenges and opportunities that characterize the field
  • Are interested in evidence-based practice, quality development and clinical guidelines
  • Work in a structured and analytical way
  • Are good at building relationships and facilitating collaboration across professional groups and organizations
  • Can drive processes independently while also engaging in close collaboration.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week with a permanent appointment from 01-01-2027.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement with the possibility of negotiating allowances.

You will be employed in the Central Region of Denmark with a work place in Aarhus, Aalborg, Odense or Copenhagen.
