As a Network Architect at itm8, you work at the intersection of technology, business, and customers. You will come close to some of the larger and more complex customer projects, where your task is to lift the gaze from the individual technology and help set the direction for the overall solution.

You join an established team where high professionalism goes hand in hand with close customer dialogue. You will become an important technical sparring partner both internally and externally and have the opportunity to shape the solutions and services we offer our customers.

Your role

You will take on a role with technical heft, but you must also be able to translate your knowledge into solutions that make sense for the customer. You come in early in the process when needs are to be identified, the architecture is to be defined, and the right technical choices must be made. On larger projects you may also participate in the initial implementation before the task is handed over to our consultants and operations team.

• You participate in presales within networking and security and translate customers' needs into concrete technical solutions.
• You function as the technical lead on customer projects, define the architecture, and contribute to the customer’s technical roadmap.
• You design, describe and help implement network solutions in close collaboration with our other specialists.
• You advise and present solutions to customers and collaborate closely with our technology partners.
• You contribute to the development of our network and security services and help set the direction for best practice in the area.

We are looking for a team8 who

Have several years of experience in networking and network security and have reached a point where you can both go in depth technically and broaden your view. You don’t need to be an expert in everything. The crucial thing is that you have a strong technical foundation and can use it to make qualified choices together with customers and colleagues. Relevant certification is an advantage, but documented experience and professional depth weigh at least as much.

Overall we imagine that you

• Have solid experience with network products and technologies in areas such as enterprise- and service provider routing, switching, security, SSE/SASE or identity management.
• Have knowledge of network infrastructure.
• Have experience with solution design, technical advisory and presales and are comfortable presenting your recommendations to customers.
• Have an eye for developments in networks and security and a desire to translate new opportunities into better services and solutions.

Since the role involves close collaboration with Danish customers and colleagues, it is a requirement that you reside in Denmark and have Danish and English at a professional level.
