Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer – Kalundborg

Job-Link is looking for an experienced Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer for a project assignment in Kalundborg .

The role involves working with IT/OT infrastructure in a technical project environment, supporting industrial automation, manufacturing systems, data collection and digital production environments.

You will work across IT, Operational Technology, Automation and Cybersecurity and take responsibility for infrastructure solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from design and implementation to commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will include

• Design of secure and scalable IT/OT infrastructure solutions
• Engineering of industrial networks, server environments and virtualization platforms
• Configuration and integration of infrastructure with OT, automation and manufacturing systems
• Troubleshooting of infrastructure, integration and cybersecurity-related issues
• Participation in technical reviews
• Support during commissioning activities
• Technical handover and documentation
• Coordination with relevant technical disciplines and project stakeholders
• Ownership of technical solution areas
• Contribution to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Ensuring high-quality technical deliveries

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with

• A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Automation or a related technical discipline
• Approximately 4–5 years of relevant experience
• Solid experience within IT/OT infrastructure engineering
• Strong understanding of industrial networking and infrastructure architecture
• Experience with server platforms and virtualization
• Experience from project-based engineering environments
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for technical deliveries
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• A structured and quality-focused approach to engineering

Relevant experience should include several of the following areas

• Industrial cybersecurity
• ISA-95 principles
• IEC 62443 principles
• Cisco networking technologies
• VMware virtualization
• Microsoft Server technologies
• Active Directory
• OT platforms and automation environments
• MES integrations

• Historian systems
• SCADA systems
• Industrial network and server infrastructure

You are comfortable working across different technical disciplines and project teams and can communicate technical topics clearly to different stakeholders.

You work in a structured manner, have a strong focus on quality and are comfortable taking ownership of your own tasks and deliveries.

Work permit : You must hold work danish work permit and reside in Denmark, or any EU country and willing to relocate.
