The Neurology department is seeking

Bornholm Hospital, the Neurology Department is seeking a nurse and a social and health care assistant for permanent positions.

The department is located on the first floor of the hospital, together with orthopedic surgery, parenchymal urology, ENT surgery, pediatrics and obstetrics.

Neurology has space for 8 neurological patients, and receives medical support from Bispebjerg. This means there is an opportunity for exchange to Bispebjerg's Neurology Department to develop professionally.

In fact, we are undertaking a lot of professional development in neurology and we would like you to join us.

We are looking for

A nurse with Danish authorization.

A social and health care assistant with Danish authorization.

Preferably with neurological experience, but not a requirement.

Employment terms

37 hours, in rotating shifts with weekends – depending on agreement.

Start: December 1, 2026 or by agreement.

Application deadline: October 22.

Interviews will be held on October 28 and 29.

Salary and employment terms will be in accordance with the agreement for non-management personnel in the Health Sector’s area regarding employment as a nurse, and the agreement for Social and Health Care Personnel regarding employment as a social and health care assistant.

Authorized health professionals with patient contact who do not have a Danish education must, upon employment in the Capital Region, meet the Danish language proficiency requirement* in another way.

*Authorized health personnel with patient contact who do not have a Danish education must, upon employment in the Capital Region, have passed a Danish test (Danish Education 3, equivalent to the 9th grade final exam) or at minimum be able to pass the test within 1 year after employment, or have obtained corresponding Danish language skills by other means.
