Nexus Advokater seeks a law student with an interest in property law and a desire to work closely with contract law

Do you want to be part of our student team and try your hand at construction law in practice? We are seeking a law student with flair and interest in the private law subjects, for our well-functioning law firm on Østerbro.

We are specialists in construction law

We are a highly specialized law firm within construction law. We currently employ 23 staff, and we do a lot to be a good, proper and flexible workplace with a flat structure, where you enjoy coming to work and thrive with both challenges and areas of responsibility.

You will gain in-depth experience with everyday life at a law firm

Tasks will be carried out partly in collaboration with the office's lawyers and trainee lawyers, partly as independent tasks. You will gain experience and knowledge of handling civil cases, both in the civil courts and in arbitration, through collaboration with the lawyers and the trainee lawyers at the office. You will be an active part of the concrete case processing and come very close to the cases from start to finish.

You will work with real client matters and have direct client contact, just as you gain insight into how legal problems are translated into assessments, strategy, pleadings and practical solutions.

We focus on ensuring you can always approach your colleagues if you are in doubt about a case – you are never alone with your tasks. Your duties are adapted depending on how far you are in your studies and your academic level. The more responsibility and ownership you take, the more diverse and independent tasks you will be responsible for.

If you find private law subjects such as the law of obligations interesting, then construction law will surely also be something for you. We do not expect that you have studied construction law in your studies.

Typical tasks

• Written preparation of court decisions and rulings within construction law
• Literature and practice search
• Preparation of legal writings – e.g. drafts of pleadings, legal aid requests, fee arrangements mv.
• Ad hoc tasks
• Administrative and practical tasks
• Development of course materials

Our student employees typically work 10-20 hours per week, but there is an option to adapt your hours to needs and schedule.

We are flexible with working hours and remote work during exam periods.
