Structure, overview and execution across the group

I am a practicing lawyer and spend 99 percent of my time on the law firm: arbitration cases, lawsuits and expert determinations. Therefore there is very little time for supervision and follow-up on our other projects.

In addition to Nexus Advokater I have interests in a number of other companies. Each project has its own leader, and I practically act as chair of the board. I am therefore seeking one person who will ensure that what I and my managers initiate is carried out.

Three things are decisive. You must be able to

• Ensure structure and planning
• Create momentum
• Own the tasks and act independently

You will be responsible for

• Annual cycle, weekly cycle and follow-up across all companies
• Budgets, finances and progress
• That my leadership groups function — and that the balls that drop by the wayside are caught
• That I myself always know what I should do, when
• To act as my extended arm and deputy in the contexts where I cannot be present, e.g., financial meetings and leadership meetings

You are the right person if you

• Have maturity and presence
• Love structure, planning and overview — not only can tolerate it, but become unsettled when things do not add up
• Have strong competencies in finance, Excel, project management and process design
• Have a heavy, senior background and experience with managing complex organizations
• Not afraid to learn new things — we have already established several AI employees in different job functions, and we will train you in AI if necessary
• Are comfortable representing me and stepping into my shoes when appropriate

Who I am, and what I cannot work with

I never raise my voice. I can become impatient, because I want momentum — but I believe that people work best when they feel good. Respect, kindness, empathy and care are the foundation. Loyalty is a core value, not a slogan.

Conversely I am extremely introverted. I recharge alone, and I don't need small talk. The employees who work best for me keep contact professional and precise. But I enjoy a free and direct tone of communication and mutual teasing — it just has to be always meant kindly.

And there is a bottom line: Arrogance, condescension and poor treatment of others are something I will not have in my life — neither with customers, employees or partners. It is a core value I never compromise on.
