Night shift workers sought for the Vester Hassing Residential Facility

Do you want to help create safe nights for people with extensive support and care needs?

At Botilbuddet Vester Hassing we are seeking new night staff as a result of an expansion in connection with the move-in of a new resident. We are therefore looking for engaged and responsible staff who thrive working independently and who see the value in creating calm, safety and stability during the night hours.

About the job

As a night worker you are an important part of the residents' daily life, even though most hours take place while the rest of the house sleeps. You help ensure that the night runs safely, and that residents start a new day with the best possible conditions.

Your tasks will include

• To create safety and presence for residents throughout the night
• Supervision and observation of residents' well-being and health status
• Support during nocturnal awakenings and when help is needed
• Care and nursing tasks as needed
• Documentation and handover
• Practical tasks that support a well-functioning daily life for residents and colleagues

Night work requires you to maintain an overview in both calm and unpredictable situations, and to act professionally and with care when the need arises.

Who are we?

Botilbuddet Vester Hassing is a offer for 30 adults with significant and lasting physical and mental disabilities. We work based on the residents' resources, wishes and quality of life and focus on creating a safe and dignified home for the individual.

Several residents have limited or no verbal communication, and some have extensive physical disabilities.

This means that the night can include everything from routine checks to support with sleep disturbances, personal care and observation of the residents' well-being.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a care- and pedagogue assistant, social- and health care helper, or has other relevant experience
• Is calm, stable and responsible
• Can work independently and make qualified decisions
• Has an eye for residents' needs and signals
• Can document professionally and accurately
• Contributes to good cooperation with both night and day colleagues

Experience from the social or special needs sector is an advantage, but not a requirement.

The position

• 37 hours
• Weekend every other week
• Start around January 1, 2027
• Salary according to applicable collective agreement
• Criminal record certificate and references collected

The bus services are limited, so having a car is an advantage.
